The Tailormade team were asked to design, supply and fit a new veranda for the owners of this raised house, a space that would allow them to enjoy their garden on the level of their ground floor. Due to the ever present flooding threat, the veranda had to be on stilts, raised up but accurately matching the floor level of the house.  The veranda was designed and built by Tailormade, with a shingled roof and an expert crafted external staircase, each oak leg was placed on white concrete piers.
